Raw sugar prices have risen 5% since the beginning of April, reaching 13.19 cts/lb (290.79 $/t) in New York on 17 April. Meanwhile, white sugar also rose moderately, hitting 407 $/t on 17 April. White premium is still very close to the 115 $/t mark.
